If EP are to win at Peel they should be scientific in their approach.
Firstly they should go hard in the first quarter. In 7 games, Peel have given their opposition teams 5 or more goals on 4 occasions. Likewise Peel die in the last quarter having given up 5 or more goals to opposition teams in the last quarter on 6 out of 7 occasions this year.
In terms of forward structure, Peel have had only had 5 players score 5 or more goals this season and only 2 have scored more than 10. They have no crumbers of note. So allowing Ballantyne his 4 goals, if EP can stop the other Peel forwards scoring they can win.
Merrington or another forward for EP should have a field day as Peel have allowed an opposition forward to score 5 or more goals in a game on 6 occasions this year. Play Merro or Dawes or Howlett one out and he will score a hatful.
My only worry is the EP defence but against Peel that should even itself out.
This will not be easy one.
