The list of possible 'get rid of' players is growing by the minute. As much as the points each player is worth is important, there is also the question of money. Not only does the Club need to work on something like Mark's 'rule of thumb' in terms of points per player, they will have to assess the monetary cost of contracted players. Is a player worth 1 point but who is on the most money per game better value than another player on much lower match payments but with a higher point value? Its going to be a juggling act - and we can throw in another factor to complicate matters even more - if we are after new recruits, presumably they will be costly both in terms and contract money. So, some hard decisions - hard in the sense of balancing value against points and money - will need to be made at the same time that recruits are being contacted and courted. It won't be an easy task.
