Boys, EPFC needed the broom. Last year was the build up of three or four years of mediocrity.S**t even the supporters started going psycho and getting us in trouble at the WAFL. The blood purge was good and woke a few at EPFC up.

The football department got the enema they needed and I'm sure the playing group will be looked at and assessed. I don't think many will be culled. Points and /or potential will save a few players. Quite a few of the players were comfortable this year. Next year, charmed runs will only be seen at Flemington and players will have to earn their spot.

But Zman was saying this from early on, and credit is due here - the broom had to be brought in. It was. There is a new urgency and discipline at the place.

This should now be reflected in the players.
