I can't fathom why the WAFC would feel the need to bail the Peel FC out, other than to save face & keep justifying their decision to allow them into the competition in the first place. I know I've said in the past that we should just accept the decision with respect to Peel, but I draw the line at a bail out. If they've managed to run their club into the ground why should the WAFC prop it up? Doesn't make good business sense to me. Besides, whatever happened to the $300,000 they were supposedly given for "facilities improvements" by Cape Bouvard? If they'd received the money & stuck it in a high interest-bearing term deposit, they'd have made a nice little stream of income from the interest earned.......Besides, I've yet to see any improvement at that poor excuse for an oval so what's happened to the $$$$? And I still refuse to go down there until the facilities improve to the required standard....... image
