Tobymac; I was commenting on the large number of 'talls' that we have, so Wirra didn't figure in the conversation. But where Micale will play him is anyone's guess right now. My view is that with Oliver gone, Wirra may start off sweeping around in defence. As the game wears on, however, just as Worsfold did with him, Wirra may be thrown forward for a quick goal or two. He has the versatility to play anywhere . . even in the centre square at times. But I'm leaning toward a defensive role, at least to begin with. Much will depend, of course, on whether our smaller forwards can get among the goals. If Seal, Swan, McCaulay, Dobson, perhaps Dann, can stay in the game and kick goals, then Micale may settle Wirra in across half back or as a sweeper from a back pocket. (For those who remember - a la Graham Melrose).

What do you think ?
